But that being said, I also see plenty of asshole cyclists who have no regard for traffic laws either. They whip through traffic, run red lights and have become a nuisance for many drivers. I know they have a right to ride on the road, but a lot of traffic in town is dangerous enough in a car.

in the USA bicyclists are legally required to ride on the road if they are 18 and over.
