Sony’s Adam Boyes Touring Japan to Meet Many Developers and Publishers: Japanese Games Push Coming?

by Giuseppe Nelva(2 hours ago)7

Looks like Sony Computer Entertainment Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations Adam Boyes has been up to mischief lately, and precisely he’s been on a tour in Japan to meet developers and publishers.

The first to break the news was Capcom’s producer Yoshinori Ono, that tweeted about a visit from Boyes.

Thanks Adam @amboyes as SCEA for visiting to our office at Tokyo!! : D I could take good time!

After that, Boyes himself talked about a big presentation with a “huge room” full of Japanese developers and publishers.

About to present to a huge room full of our Japanese pubs & developers and I’ve got the nastiest cold ever. Sake was prescribed as medicine.

If you want to know just how many representatives of developers and publishers were present, Boyes also tweeted a picture of said “huge room.”

There’s definitely a lot of room there for enough developers to fill up the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita with Japanese games for the next decade. But jokes aside, it’s definitely interesting to know that Boyes is on the move, especially with the E3, Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show sequence incoming.

Capcom’s big upcoming PS4 game Deep Down also hasn’t been announced for the west yet, and Adam Boyes is exactly the person Ono-san would talk to about that kind of topic. Of course that’s just my personal speculation, but a man can hope.
