It's actually probably my least favorite console Zelda since OoT... but it's still a great game.

I liked the story (especially Zelda and Ganon's origins), the motion controls were often utilized creatively and I like that the puzzles were often new and unpredictable (unlike Twilight Princess).

What I didn't like was the horribly limited sky overworld, the fact that you had to revisit the same areas so much (which often times weren't terribly interesting to begin with), and the fact that the motion controls were way overused when it came to combat. Fighting enemies by stabbing in different ways was great, but should have been limited to finishing moves or special attacks. Regular sword swipes should have been a simple button press, IMO. Little things like cutting grass, for example, was incredible tedious. And not being able to run and swing your sword simultaneously (ala Twilight Pincess) felt severely limited.

Honestly, I would put it pretty much on par with TP overall - each with their different strengths and shortcomings, but except for Zelda 2 (also great), I definitely like every other console Zelda game a good deal better.

I didn't really mind the controls too much, but this. I hated this.
