People said it because they were going by VGC numbers. It wasn't some kind of public perception or something pulled out of their ass. In prior weeks, VGC had WiiU at like 49K and XBone at 56K. Was it unreasonable for people to say "XBone is selling WiiU numbers"? Obviously, VGC was inaccurate with regard to that. But it's dishonest to say people were "trolling" by saying the XBone is at WiiU levels when on this very site, the numbers backed up those statements. Nobody knew the numbers were wrong until NPD came out the other day. But don't use that as a launching pad to jump on people who were just using the same numbers you were using before NPD came out. You're only changing your tune because NPD was in your favor this month. Had VGC actually been accurate for February, this thread wouldn't exist
