Are you serious? that's pretty much hard seem as how Nintendo is the only actual real video games company, you don't like nintendo your not a gamer in my eyes

Nintendo is one generation behind since they brought out the Wii and WiiU in terms of graphic. By, ignoring all the exclusive games on Sony and Microsoft consoles your missing out on some great games of the current generation. Beside, Third party game are much better on non-Nintendo consoles. 

My prefer blend is Nintendo console + Nintendo handheld + PC Gaming + mid-gen adopter of Microsoft. I would then pick up a Sony consoles second hand to play their exclusives in the 4th or 5th year and then proceed to sell it back to recover most of my cost.

 

I tend to have the same approach. I went with Sega at first, moved to Xbox, then Xbox 360, finally switching to PS3 in 2012. I'm now going with Both Handhelds and the Wii U for this generation, will likely pick up the PS4 in 2015-2016 but honestly don't see myself bothering with the Xbox One at all. The combination of 3DS and PS3 worked wonders for me for the last two years. Adding in the Wii U and most recently the Vita gives me a full range. PC gaming is something I still want I just can't afford a new PC yet and have been without a proper gaming PC for almost 3 years now sadly though this laptop can play some things like Tropico 4 and Minecraft, (on a good day, just about).

To claim a Nintendo fan isn't a "real gamer" whilst maintaining that someone on PS3/360 playing Bioshock Infinite, GTA 5 and Call Of Duty is; is in my opinion outright insulting. If anything the Nintendo fan is more of a gamer than the average person playing on PS3/360. After all, the word gamer is losing all meaning now if everyone who plays is a gamer; does it mean "person who plays video games" or "enthusiast in the artistic medium and history of video games". I presume it to mean the latter, after all, everyone plays video games now, even my parents and they're in their late 50's. The same way that you wouldn't call someone who likes, 'The Avengers', 'Transformers', and 'Star Wars' a film buff, someone who plays mainstream games shouldn't be a gamer if we intend for that word to have any meaning; they're just a person. No, someone who watches, discusses, and analyses the themes and meaning in 'Trainspotting', 'Django Unchained', and 'The Man From Earth', they're film buffs... the word gamer should carry the same weight.

As a Nintendo I just hate people blindly defending Nintendo and not adminting when Nintendo screws up. I enjoyed my Wii but damn the machine should of been able to handle HD graphic.  

Wii released in 2006 and pretty much died after the release of Legend of zelda: Skyward sword in 2011. Don't bring up Xenoblade: Chronicles that games was a late port that should of  been release in NA in 2011. WiiU should of release in 2011 & Skyward Sword ported over to WiiU with HD graphic. WiiU as been amarketing nightmare and Nintendo as trully screwed up the first year of that console.
