Agreed. With a similar install base, JRPGs will sell way more on Wii U than Xbox One.

That's not necessarily true. I give you two examples:

Mistwalker released Lost Odyssey on Xbox 360 and The Last Story on Wii, but despite the Wii having a larger install base and costing less than the 360, Lost Odyssey on 360 still sold better than The Last Story on Wii.

Namco Tales released Tales of Vesperia on Xbox 360 and Tales of Symphonia 2 on the Wii, but despite the Wii having a larger install base and costing less than the 360, Tales of Vesperia on 360 still outsold Tales of Symphonia 2 on Wii.

Lost Odyssey is a full fledged RPG. The Last Story is very simple and 20 hours long max.

Tales of Vesperia is a main line Tales games. Symphonia 2 was a fan fair piece of garbage.

I see your point, but not really fair comparisons.

I agree with the Tales comparison not being very fair, but the Mistwalker one can be argued unfair but not for that reason. It's unfair because the Wii was dead where Lost Odyssey was released when the 360 was doing very well.

That's true. Forgot about the release dates. The Last Story also had a very limited release in North America.
