Well, basically, transcribing most of what she said...

1) Good for Disgaea and Devil Survivor fans, mechanics are pretty similar in the turn based nature and field effects. You'll have different aims in battle, ranging from knocking everyone out, to capturing objectives and so on. (ask me anything about Disgaea if you don't know it well yourself!)

2) Short story mode, lots of interesting side content - that's where the challenge lies.

3) The out of battle mechanics are simple. On the world map you choose what to attack, where to go, and so on. Like in most other SRPG's, that's where the stores and so on are.

4) She said that if you don't like "cute Pokémon", you shouldn't really bother. But I saw the general mechanics, and they are solid, and Pokémon are well entwined into them. Maybe you'll get to like Pokémon after it :3
