"Your" Top 5 Third Party "Franchises" of All Time?

Interesting, funny how a person can enjoy such a wide variety of stuff. And Castlevania have so many diferent games in the franchise, I wonder if you like them all...

I'm not that big on the 3D Castlevanias but I love most of the side-scrollers:  Symphony is exquisite and SC4 on the SNES is my second favorite.  The NES, GBA and DS have some real gems as well.
