Is the reason people are jumping on the PS4 hype train because 360 and Wii disappointed so much last gen?

I certainly hope that it were the last years on the PS3 in terms of games that now helps PS4 selling great numbers, cause it would validate Sony's strategy.

Otherwise we're looking at the strongest year in terms of 1st party support on the PS3 (2013) at the cost of what looks like a mediocre year for the PS4 (2014) and what could be more leveled between the platforms.
