Seriously, PS4 sold out again! Why is the hype so crazy??

I needed a good laugh. The reason is it's under stocked. The wii and ps2 was doing way more per week than ps4 now. The hype was much bigger because (DVD and casuals). People on here are acting like wii numbers are here. People are not talking about the ps4 like they are iPhones.

Understocked yet it jus outsold the xbone in the US of all places the past few weeks. This last week outsold it by double in the US and Xbone consoles are available week after week online at Amazon and in local retail locations. PS4 however sells out the minute they become available. Some locations may have some in stock, none that I have seen online though. PS4 is increasing its sales lead while Xbone sales are decreasing. This all before the Japan launch.

Doubling the xbone doesn't mean the ps4 is doing amazing numbers. The xbone is underperforming. 500 dollars is not at a mass market price. Ps4 is doing very similar to Xbox 360 sales beginning of gen. This telling me, less people are interested in console gaming. Selling out, quickly when your very under stock isn't amazing. Wii was definition of under stock because after coming out of the GameCube, no one would have thought it would even sale 100,000 week global. You could see this by it nosediving in sales. Going from 100,000 to 30,000 for months.Ps4 is ranging from 60,000-89,000 in USA. What this is telling me is that usually early adopters are picking up to the amount that is reasonable not wii levels. Basically Sony is producing the amount it would have sold anyway by a few thousands difference.

You can forget Japan. Winning Japan in the console market it has today is like winning an ugly contest.
