Sorry it took so long to get back I was playing a few rounds.
1. Map size is fairly large but nothing too huge. Nowhere near the size of Battlefield or anything but larger than your average COD map.
2. In the beta guns arent customizable. There are different classes however with different loadouts.
3. Grunts are pretry dumb for the most part. They are cannon fodder to build up your Titanfall. Dobt worry though the game is VERY challenging as other pilots can destroy you quickly.
4. Smart pistol isnt OP at all. Its incredible vs grunts and can mow down 4 of then sonetimes with a single burst but isnt very effective vs pikots as it takes more shots to kill a pilot than a grunt
