They won't remove Wii support at this point. Too large of a base to ignore.
I don't think they'd drop gamepad unless they also started selling it separately and made sure all games worked with pro controller. However, if they did, then that versions woudl likely come with procontroller AND wiimote/nunchuck as well as a sizeable price drop.
Likely a new name like Wii2 or something.
Then we'd see gamepads selling separately with some bundled games for $100.
They'd also have to redesign some stuff. For instance miiverse needs a keyboard. The eShop also currently requires gamepad usage. These two are more than enough for to see that they will never drop gamepad in this design.
