At least 10 million lifetime, minimum.

First week sales and 2014 sales if you want as well!

Ah. First week? That's rough to predict. Let's say 500k to be safe and general. For all of 2014 it'd be a bit easier, I'll say at least 3-4 million, especially if they're smart and do a bundle. Could be more, doubt it'll be less.

The reason being, with Mario Kart WIi and 7, both are good games (though Wii had some serious flaws), but neither was really impressive, especially to people who may not buy every single iteration in the series. MK8 is different. It's obvious (and encouraging) that the dev team are trying to really take advantage of the hardware and new disc space, and also that they are being truly fresh and creative with track designs, I'd say, for the first time really since MK DS. This is the first MK that has really ellicited excitement just from people seeing footage of it in a long time. I think that, coupled with the no-brainer move of having an MK8 bundle later this year, will help both the game and the Wii U sell better than anything else has thus far.
