Well mine came through amazon.com to France back in December

import tax are already calculated on amazon check out... So the price you pay then is final...

what you need to know is the power brick is not 220v-240v compliant... So not only will you need a plug adaptor but a power converter capable of supporting the wattage of the Xbox at peak... So not your usual travel ones for your razor... I have a 3000watt monster myself but that's because I have a 1000watt amp a TV and a massive subwoofer plugged into it too....
the other solution is to swap power brick with a local one (what I did with my US 360) but not sure they are available yet... (they weren't back in December)

but yeah it works... Now I don't know about the video format and frequency with your TV my TV is a US one too... But you should be able to change that on the Xbox...

other good thing to know is if you have a dud, you can use your local MSFT customer support... My Kinect was faulty on arrival and even though it is a US Xbox one, my XBL account is in the US I still could exchange it locally through European customer support free of charge no question asked...

So what power converter do you recommend? .My tv is a Samsung 37 inches b530 series 5 full hd lcd tv  .From what i gather it cannot display at 50hz only at 60 up to 200hz.

At end of the order amazon posted something like 380 euros plus 20 from packaging and 90 from import taxes so 490 euros total permanently right?

And thanks alot for the info.
