If I'm reading this right, prior to 2012 Sony was overall in the positive going all the way back to 1996. The PS3 destroyed all the PS2 profits, but assuming the PS4 is a hit, as it appears to be, they could be back in the positive in as little as 2 years. Not as grim as people paint it.
