I read Manga and anyone that says Comics and Mangas are the samething needs to go die since thats like saying Anime and Cartoons are the samething

... The only differences between manga and comic books is that manga books themselves tend to be smaller, and from what I know (My friend has TONS of manga) they have a lot more pages per issue, the art style is ofcourse different, and with most of it you read it the opposite way around... oh and I've only ever seen manga in black and white, so maybe that's a thing too?

But what I meant in the poll was just like reading these sorts of things in general, it's just most people refer to them as comics regardless of if they're comics or manga or whatever, so yeah... according to the masses, they're the same thing ;)

Anyways shush, and give me some recommendations!

I'll admit, I WOULD read manga, but I don't like how you read them back to front.

The size of the book really depends on what you're reading. Most manga are serialized in monthly or weekly magazines, so when you purchase physical copies of specific manga, you're likely buying it in a volume, which is a collection of several chapters. It really varies based on the manga.

They're usually in black and white too, but that also depends on the manga. Sometimes serialized manga will start chapter with a few color pages as a bit of fanservice.

Reading right to left is something you just get used to though. Once you start, it feels pretty natural. Though it's a bit annoying if you read both Western comics and manga. I find myself reading the wrong way sometimes XD.

Anyways, I don't have too many recs for video-game based manga, and none for comic books. The only one I can actually recommend would be the Monster Hunter Orage manga. It's written by Hiro Mashima, author of Fairy Tail and Rave Master. He's probably my favorite manga author at the moment, so I really enjoyed that. I've also heard good things about the Zelda manga, but I've only read the special chapter at the end of Hyrule Historia. I'd definitely recommend that though, if you care at all for the series' background. Warning though, it's just a one-shot. ;p Link: http://www.mangapark.com/manga/zelda-no-densetsu-skyward-sword/c0/1
