So we should stop making sales predictions at all? No one will ever be dead accurate with their predictions, but we can make a decent guess. Game releases, price, momentum, hype, and consumer interest should all factor into someone's prediction. I can look at the WiiU's lack of 3rd party support and hype and safely say they won't sell very well next year. Of course they also have the cheapest console and some major first party titles like Smash Bros and Mario Kart. They'll do better next year, hell, I'm predicting a near 100% YOY increase, but that won't be good by any standards. About 5-6m in sales for the year.
