You don't need to own a PS4 to know that 1080p>720p in all cases. It's easiest to demonstrate on a gaming PC.

Plus... There are many people with: Less than perfect vision and/or  have Televisions that don't support 1080P.

Plus, keep in mind that depending on distance and the size of display, you won't tell the difference between 1080P and 720P.
