if I was you I'd boot it up and get all the updates and check if all is fine.
my orig plan was to parcel up my P.S.44 and let my son open it but what if it was dud!!!
I'd at least update and check it out and re parcel if you need to
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
