First off, there has been plenty of gaming consoles that were weak for its time that ended up being great like the ps2. Second off, no one besides Sony's first party studios are going to be able to take advantage of it. I was looking at these side by side graphic comparisions between xbox one and ps4 and can't tell much difference and the difference will be even less noticable to anyone else that is playing the game a few feet from the t.v. and not standing right next to the t.v. Surely this can't be a legit reason to prefer a console over another.

LOL

You must've lived under a rock in the past month then. The difference in multiplats this time is much bigger than any difference between PS3 and 360 multiplats. No game on 360 had ever an advantage as big as of 180-360p over the PS3 versions. 3rd parties are already taking advantage of PS4s extra power and it will become even more apparent in the coming years. Your last sentence doesnt make sense. It is indeed a legit reason to prefer one console over the other, especially if that console has better graphics AND costs 100 bucks less. There couldnt be a bigger and more legit reason to prefer one over the other.

exactly i prefer sony first party games over microsoft, but if you switch ps4 and xbones position, i would have no problem in chossing the xbone, 100$ cheaper and significantly more powerful = easy choice.
