Here are two, short lived, underrated platforming series.
Croc! Two games released on the PS1. Series is dead after studio was shutdown while developing the 3rd installment. :(
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger! Three games released on PS2, Xbox, and GameCube. Series lives on today with a 2D platformer released over the summer.
