It's probably true. The game wouldn't sell...

I wouldn't buy it, anyway.

While we're at it it's probably also a mistake to get Bayonetta 2 on WiiU, because I also highly doubt that will sell. Though I do commend the effort, at least there's the notion that such a market needs to be created first. That the effort needs to come from publishers, that it's their job to convince consumers, not the consumers job to just buy everything so we can please have some more games. Doesn't work like that, in any market. This is why Activision can't blame Nintendo fans for CoD's flops on Nintendo systems. CoD3 was most sold on Wii, yet for no reason at all they decided to not release the game which made CoD what it is now the year after on Wii, so everyone that liked the game migrated to an HD-twin. They shot themselves in the foot back then, and it's irrepairable.

Personally I don't feel the need to get any third party (multiplat) offering on a Nintendo system. Barely on any other system too by the way, because there's barely any third party that gave me a reason to. They rarely show loyalty and true support, offerings across platforms are usually too different and they try the hardest to rip me off with DLC and mandatory online accounts cr*p like that. Any third party game has to be d*mn good for me to buy.

Maybe he's talking about mature games not selling well on Nintendo consoles. And I don't think he's wrong. GTA Chinatown Wars and Eternal Darkness both bombed despite being critically acclaimed. Does anyone have an example of an M-rated game selling well on a Nintendo system?

Resident Evil 4.

I don't care what this proves or not though... I just knew of a game .
