Disagree.....them doing even worse in europe this gen means they simply sont be that competitive WW. Sony has always done better in multiple regions, its why despite the PS3 being a mess, it still sold fdaster then 360. Now MS needs to focus on not just being the american console. Right now Ww it is not looking good fro MS, Sony is actually going to gain a lot of ground in teh US and has a chance to beat MS even there.

It's always smart to defend your strong areas. And microsoft needs to defend america, or else they will lose it.

I have to agree with you. if MS has to choose between gaining ground in Eu or stay relevant and defending the US, I am pretty sure the US will be more important for them. Specially since the PS4 is ahead in MS strongest territories. Sony has put MS in a position where they really can't afford to focus on all 13 countries for now while demand for the PS4 seems better and stronger in the US. While Sony cannot meet demand it's important for MS that anyone who wants a Xbox One can find it easily. There are people who are not loyal to any brand who will just buy the console available when they walk in. MS has to try to get as many as those people as possible
