Why is soccer so unpopular in the US?

 why does fifa need to change the rules of the most popular sport in the world? seriously usa gets everything they want, and fifa shuldnt have to change the rules of this sexy game just cause of americans. if they did, the world would for sure hate the us.

The world already for sure hates the US.  Soccer is just one aspect of it.
