No, the problem is with the demos. For example, in the full version of Fire Emblem: Awakening, you can skip cutscenes and turn off tutorials (which can still be accessed through a menu if you so choose).
Although I couldn't imagine why you'd do such a thing. Awakening features one of the best English localization I've yet to see. Good banter. Lots of personality in the characters. It adds a good deal flavor to already an already solid game.
