Even if those percentages were true, my statement would still be 100% accurate - NPD do not get raw data for 100% of sales, so there is statistical estimation involved.
But I'm going to force you to back up your claim - provide sources that prove that NPD tracks "90% of retailers" and VGChartz tracks less than 20%.
I've already found a solid number for the number of retailers that NPD tracks, I want to see if you are capable of finding it. I'll say this much - it's not 90%.
Until you provide evidence, I'm going to assume you're full of it, and dismiss any further argument you put forward in this thread.
(EDIT: Oh, and I don't care at all who uses NPD numbers for sell-through, because they are, by definition, statistical estimates.)
