It’s doubtless that Black Friday is a strategic date for shopping in the United States, so it’s not surprising that leading retailer GameStop decided to provide a rich bundle for both the PS4 and the Xbox One.

The PS4 bundle included the console, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, a second DualShock 4 and a year of PlayStation Plus for $609.95. The Xbox One bundle included the console, Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, a second controller and and a $20 Xbox One goift card for $699.96.

Apparently the PS4 bundle was considerably more successful than the rival, ranking 2nd in the Best Selling chart (beaten only by the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 2014), as opposed to the 7th place of the Xbox One.

It’s interesting to notice that GameStop did try to keep the Xbox One bundle under the psychological amount of $700, while the same effort wasn’t done with the PS4, that wasn’t sold under $600.

On the other hand, looking at the last generation, the PS3 bundle including The Last of Us and Batman: Arkham Origins is ranked 9th, while the Xbox 360 bundle with Tomb Raider and Halo 4 is in 12th position.
