You can't be serious..... not every console has to sell like the Wii to be successful. Before the Wii, Nintendo didn't have a home console that sold above 62 million (NES) and yet those other console were still successful. And don't give me that crap about the console user base growing now.

The console gaming user base hasn't grown nearly as much as you think. Nearly half of the consoles bought last gen were bought for purposes other than gaming. Microsoft realized that, hey Xbox One how you doin? That doesn't mean that the console user base isn't growing, it certainly is but not for gaming purposes.

I expect a slight decline in console sales for this gen, I only say slight because consoles aren't being marketed as solely gaming console anymore so the people will flock.

My point being, Wii U is selling less than expected but if history is any indication I wouldn't worry about it. I still expect great games out of it, N64 says hi.
