Yes some will like it, as with everything (I liked Duke Nukem Forever). But it's a RPG series and people expect RPG games, yes Japan likes to make dance game spin-offs, but Persona has a fanbase outside Japan too. Just watch that game fail if it makes it our Japan. The 3DS game is going to no doubt outsell it.

the 3ds is game is basically EO clone. That game sells way worse than the dance titles like miku etc easily. It's basically EO reskinned. Both games have their own appeals. Persona is famous for the music and honestly I have read many comments by happy persona fans. I think this is going to surprise people by the sales it will get. 

 

And for both this and the 3ds spin off the primary audience is the JP one. Such games don't sell much outside of Japan period. If it really bugs you so much I gurantee that P5 is going to be on the vita in a year or so after the Ps3 release. It's just smart business
