You do realize, Miku sells like that because it's Miku, not the game genre really. They screwed the PS Vita fanbase no matter which way you look at it. Yes some will like it, as with everything (I liked Duke Nukem Forever). But it's a RPG series and people expect RPG games, yes Japan likes to make dance game spin-offs, but Persona has a fanbase outside Japan too. Just watch that game fail if it makes it our Japan. The 3DS game is going to no doubt outsell it.
