I don't understand this. Fancy elaborating a little bit further? It's a very enjoyable series of games. Which ones have you played & why did they make you feel uncomfortable?
Regardless, the point wasn't that it has to be Animal Crossing. Anything casual or female-friendly with a Japanese focus. Harvest Moon would be another example.
