Atleast that's what I'm expecting! As of what we know now, Yoshi is getting two new games of his own next year, being Yarn Yoshi and Yoshi's New Island. On top of that, he's appearing in 3 other known games, being Mario Kart 8, Mario Golf World Tour, and Super Smash Bros. 4. Not to mention any newly unveiled games, possibly Mario Strikers, Mario Tenis, Mario Party, and so ons. Already, Yoshi is the single most prevalent Nintendo character in 2014, even beating out Mario who doesn't even star in any games of his own. So because of all that, even if Nintendo doesn't make it official (though I bet they will), 2014 really will be the Year of Yoshi! ^_^
