Long story short, I bought my deluxe wii u on launch day and it was plagued with the blinking blue light of death. Turned it in to nintendo for repairs and two weeks later I received another console from them. It was unable to sync with the gamepad... Again I sent it in for repairs and another few weeks later I finally received a working wii u. Froze on me a few times since then but nothing major. Although I do recall the "street view" app or whatever it's called freezing all the time when I just wanted to check it out.

I usually didn't buy consoles during the launch window, but I made exceptions with nintendo. I never had to get any of my nintendo consoles repaired. I was shocked about getting two faulty consoles in a row. Not like nintendo at all. But I'm sure my case was extremely rare.

I guess mine is too. Oh well... Its still a great system.

Yeah, it is a great system, but at the time I was furious with nintendo.  It was the only time I've ever complained to any kind of customer service.  I vowed to never buy one of their products again.  I got over it quickly though lol.  I need my marios, metroids, and zeldas in my life.
