You are right, it's the figurine. It's common industry practice to charge ridiculous margins for such worthless pieces of plastic.

I like collecting figurines, just not in that insane amount of money. Heck that's what my Cloud + Fenrir motorbike cost me and that was one of the best built (quality-wise) figurines I've seen. 50€ for a random figurine...yeah S-E just going for a quick grab. Pathetic really

It's likely Square-Enix's Action Figure brand Play Art's Kai (which is what your Cloud+Fenrir) are pretty good figures that are around 60-90 USD, they make figures for their series, MGS, Assasins Creed, Batman, Cowboy Bebop etc. That's what Tomb Raider's Collectors included, at big price.

though it's definietely a cash grab, since that's what collectors edition and action figures are.

Though, I wish AR was included in something else, because I find those quite amusing.
