I can't help feeling that it would've been more successful had they not decided to delay the Wii U version at the last second. That clearly turned a lot of people off, and it didn't really seem to help sales on other platforms anyway. :/ |
Yea its quite sad and odd really... I understand that Ubisoft wanted it to come to other consoles, but why not release it then, get the sales from the wiiU while people are desperate for games, and then release it 6 months later for the other consoles. The developers even said it was ready to launch... By the time september came, it has to compete with GTA V on ps3/360, WWHD on wiiU and Killzone on Vita... you cannot compete with those key games and I know a few of my friends that bought a wiiU didn't buy Rayman Legends soley because of the delay
