Sony make or break this holiday?

But it are the TV and Mobile divisions that are really struggling. If they fail they can still go the panasonic way and let them go.

It wasnt because of the mobile division that they made a loss. It was also because of losses in gaming and sony pictures.

Sony highlighted this in there earnings report i believe.

the game division posted a loss because of PS4 manufacturing. High manufacturing without selling -> loss. 

The movie industry is very volatile (or how you say it). You have to invest a lot of money in order to make money. And the entertainment bussiness is growing, especially the movie industry. So I have confidence in Sony Pictures, they just had a bad quarter

Sony Pictures is like Sony Game division. You have to invest a lot of money into a blockbuster and hope people will love it and buy it. The only difference is that the game division still has the hardware, and this includes platform royalty with every new game sold. So they are safer if they have some blockbuster flops.

So this brings us back to sony TV and Mobile divisions. Like I said.. It's going to be an interesting holiday.
