Just thought it was worth noting that the Vita saw a very nice increase in Japan thanks to the new model.

After 4 pages of posts, very few people were downplaying the achievement.
For any of you that posted in that thread with encouragement and yet castigated the Wii U's achievement in this thread, shame on you. And vice versa.
