Does the Gamepad make a big difference in TW101 and Wind Waker HD?

Dunno about W101, but for WW HD, to me the GamePad's just much more intuitive and it streamlines the whole experience. Not having to pause the game to see maps/switch items and whatnot is excellent, and the gyro controls for things like taking pictures and aiming with weapons is super smooth and fast, much more preferable to analog controls, imo. Seriously, the gyro controls are vastly underrated imo and really make a difference.
Playing off-tv is just a nice little bonus. To me, the Gamepad provides a much more comfortable and smooth, uninterrupted experience.
