The ride felt more disjointed in this one than HR in my opinion. There are some chapters, one in particular, that I absolutely detested and it was very long XD... It also felt very out of place in my opinion.
Honest to god, I was set on 5/10'ing it based off the start, but it did get better imo. Really really loved the ending. I felt the game was too long for what it was trying to accomplish so it became tedious. Especially with the whole fear of Jodie dying not being there since Aiden protects her. In HR => I was always scared because I thought any moment could kill a potential main character (even if it was just a fasade for the most part).
Its a good game though, barely.
