I felt I was acting too much like a Sony fanboy, so I gave myself fresh perspective and dressed up my profile like a Nintendo fanboy. Didn't change the content of my posts, but all of a sudden Nintendo guys were agreeing with me and Sony guys were calling me a Ninty fanboy. After a few weeks of gaining their trust, I moved on to Microsoft and had the same thing happen. Microsoft guys who always disagreed with me started saying "yeah good post Joe" and Nintendo guys disliked me again.
I ended that after I returned from my summer break and now just use my avatar and sig to troll and manipulate people. Since I'm talking about a lot of pro Nintendo stuff right now, I have a pro Nintendo look. This makes it much easier to talk with other Nintendo fans. When Beyond comes out I'm planning to switch over to that stuff so that I can chat with Sony fans about the game and be taken seriously.
Also on top of all this over summer break some things changed and I realized my identity was probably going to be revealed in the coming year so I've had to think a lot more before each post. I really don't want to say things that will reflect poorly on me if in the future people go back and check out my history. It's really improved my posting etiquette.
TLDR; Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by Nintendo and have a much deeper love for all three companies than I used to. I'm not mocking any fan group.
