Well, if they waited a couple of weeks, it would be in the middle of Pokemon fever. Then if they waited longer, it would be in the middle of battlefield fever. Longer than that, Call of Duty fever.
The person who is going to be interested in the Wii U is likely going to be different from the person who's interested in GTA, so it's not too big of a deal. I think the amount the sales increased by is pretty much what should have been expected, so it worked out well.
