The obsession for big-budget movies filled with the same themes - crime, gore, shooting, war - is really really bad for the industry.
There´s a good part of consumers who really want new experiences, new ideas and flexibility.
Those type of movies are not aimed to all movie audience and that audience alone can´t sustain the industry. There´s no room for so many expensive productions. Marvel Studios published games are a great example.
