I don't think being more powerful would help them. Nintendo had a hard enough time making Wii games and is having a harder time still making Wii U games, so it wouldn't be much use for them internally, and having more power wouldn't do much for their third party situation, either. Lack of power isn't why third parties avoid Nintendo.

Agreed on the Gamepad, though. I think the Wii U would have done a lot better if they were still pushing the Wiimote, and it would probably have knocked about $50 off the MRSP.
