Ok, I just noticed something. When bayonetta 2 was announced as a wii u exclusive, there was an immense backslash from fans. the main argument was "Now I must buy a wii u if I want to play this game that should be on my platform".

when final fantasy XV was confirmed for ps4 and xone, no ps3 version, nothing really happened. I'm sure some were dissapointed but I don't recall any visible backslash from ps3 owners.

now let's compare. Bayo 2 was never announced for ps360, it was always wii u only as soon as the first news were released for it. And people complained about having to buy a next gen system in order to play a next gen exclusive (the basic reason to buy a new system). Final fantasy XV was announced in 2007 as PS3 EXCLUSIVE and 6 years later it was said that it won't release on ps3 at all, only ps4 and xone confirmed. Yet you don't see ps3 owners complain about having to buy a ps4/xone in order to play a game that WAS ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO BE ON PS3.

So all I can conclude is that when something benefits nintendo, it will always be received with hate. if the same kind of thing benefits sony/ms, there's little to no hate at all.
