Hello, I was talking to a friend about Sony and Microsoft next consoles, he didnt know what to get(He's a X360 user but enjoys playing Sony explusives too) so I tell him to wait 2 years or so when, probably, next gen winner will be more evident and there will be a lot of next gen games to try, and console prices will be lower. I told him to buy a better PC, play some PC's exclusives and some next gen games too. He told me that was a very expensive idea, and I said I will build a cheap gaming PC comparable with next gen consoles. So here's my build.

-Multi monitor support
-Use for multimedia and working
-New games are 10$ cheaper most of the time(6 games a year for 5 years its 300$ less than consoles)
-EXCELLENT promotions and discounts
-Free online multiplayer(50$ for 5 years is 250$ less than consoles)
-Upgradeable
-Reusable parts for upgrade
-Multiple inputs options(Mouse, keyboard, gamepad, etc)
-More free to play games
-PC exclusives
-Steam Family Sharing with gives a lot of freedom to play and try games within your family or friends group
-Could burn you own DVDs and CDs

Disadvantages:

-More expensive shipping cost than consoles
-No OS cost added on base
-No controller or input device added on base
-Games are not fully optimised for its hardware
-Need to build it yourseft(or added to for someone to do it for you)
-No Bluray drive for movies
-Probably worse audio quality than consoles
-No kinect 2.0
-Can't trade in games
- Games not optimized for a default controller or needed to manual setup
- Games not optimized for tv (small fonts, overscan area used)
- Less focus on local multiplayer / splitscreen 
-Missing PS+ Free games and promotions
-Its way bigger in size
-More trouble getting games started
-Drivers issues
