I don't see anything wrong with it. Most kids have no problems with playing games like that. They won't start a killing spree or anything like that. It's just important for the parents to look after their kids. they are the ones who know best if their child can play those games or not. I was allowed to play Mortal Kombat when I was 8, but my mother carefully explained to me that it isn't real and even got a little into detail about how games were made. I think that's important, to not just let your kids on their own and don't talk with them. but if you do, there is nothing wrong with some GTA.

Parents who don't gibe a fuck about their kids and are just happy to be on their own while the kids play in front of the TV should care about those age restrictions. It's a whole lot different if the kids are on their own. But then again, if the parents don't care about their kids in the first place, why would they care about age restrictions?

Bottom Line: I don't know these people and how well the kids are raised. But I don't see anything generally wrong with it. It's up to the parents what their kids may or may not play.
