I guess it varies for the consumer, I see where your coming from though. For me personally I like what I've seen so far from the PS4 and Xbox One to where I would buy both if I had 1,000 dollars to spend on entertainment. When its all said and done all 3 consoles will have about 20 or 30 notable retail exclusives that separate them. But aside from exclusives yeah they are essentially the same, but it comes down to the question are you buying a console for features or games? If I were to buy a Wii U it wouldn't particularly be for the tablet controller(though its pretty cool), I'd buy it for that Nintendo quality lineup. Im just speaking on my behalf obviously, but there are others who feel the same and also differently.
