Just looking at Donkey kong country Returns, the vast majority of its userbase is North American (3m). The game only sold 300k in Europe and managed 1m in Japan. Now 1m is quite strong for japan, but my thinking is that the Wii U is going to bomb in both those territories this fall and sales will likely be 50% of what they were for the wii.
So I'm thinking
NA: 800k
Europe:200k
Japan:400k
But I forgot about other regions which will probabl add 300k-500k
So I'll revise that 1.5m figure to 1.7m
I should probably explain why I think the Wii U is going to bomb in Japan, but Its quite extensive with sales data so I'm going to make a thread about It :)
