This is very good news. I don't mind the size of the DS3 controller, but the dead zones on those analogue sticks are really big and noticeable, especially after playing on a 360 controller, which has very small dead zones. Although it normally doesn't make a big difference in most games, having a large dead zone makes it difficult to connect precise shots as small movements on the stick are much more important.

The fact that DS4 has taken that issue into account makes me very happy. FPS games are all about the control after all.
