Depends on the size of the company.

But CEOs of giant Japanese companies tend to have as much economic distance between their employees as CEOs of Western companies.

I do love a sweeping (and inaccurate) generalisation.

If this is JUST salary and bonus (no stock awards) then I believe it is more than the CEO of MS and Apple.

Let me know when the CEO of Southwest, Boeing, or American Airlines does this. 

Also, it's my understanding that the difference between incomes of this year and last year are due to:

"Hirai gave up his bonus for the year ended in March as the main electronics operation remained unprofitable."

Are his stock awards going to be how much more?
